Unofficial 1.70 Keybinding Reference Doc

posted Jan 07, 2013 20:35:29 by Chalta
Hello all,

I've created a reference document for the Artemis Keybindings as of the new 1.70 release, attached below.

I don't think I'm missing anything. Let me know if there are any errors/omissions.

Each console now has its own page. I have included below the source .xls if anyone wants to tinker, or you can get it as a .pdf.

Reference Guide

Downloadable Formats:
PDF
Excel

This is awesome, you should definitely get it uploaded on to the wiki. I'd really love to have the PDF of this file. I hardly use key bindings because I have no easy reference to hand; this solves that problem for me.

Updated original post with downloadable formats, including pdf and excel. I don't have wiki privileges, nor do I need them, but someone else can upload it with my permission.

Creative Commons, Copyleft, attribution, blah blah.

very nice... will be using with my crew. My pilots been complaining about not knowing keys for a while. Plus this will help all other stations. Thanks a bunch.

I took your idea and ran with a bit. I didn't like having them all on one sheet (though I can see why some might), and I like things like to this to be overly designed. Also, you missed a lot of Weapons stuff. So, here are mine. I made each station a separate image. Let me know what you think.

Excellent Scott!

This is exactly why I started the reference, so we could finally document all of the hotkeys. As you note, I wasn't even aware of all of the hotkeys for weapons.

With that many overlapping hotkeys, I will likely re-design into 5 separate reference guides as you have done.

I didn't even know about the Weapons keys until after I saw this and decided to pour through the controls.ini. Also, I only made four, not five. Comm doesn't really need one :)

Here is an updated version that is slightly darker as some may find it easier to read.

Very nice! :D Suggest adding 1-9 as presets for engineering and shift + 1-9 for setting presets :]

Good timing Jacob, I just uploaded a revised version with one console per page, a different visual theme and the engineering preset hotkeys.

Can be found at the same links above, including a new sample image from the weapons console.

Uploaded both files to the wiki, and revised relevant links. All future revisions will live there.
