Joystick woes
I already have Artemis working with my Thrustmaster Hotas X. I've been trying to improve it by mapping more keys to it. However Buttons 8-11 and the hat will not map. I want the hat to change views on the main screen and buttons 8-11 to do things like activate shields and reverse. They currently work mapped to 0-3. Any ideas or am I out of luck?
Currently buttons 8 and 9 do not work and neither does the hat switch:

Back in October I got my Thrustmaster HOTAS X to change views based on the hat. The Helmsmen who tried it loved it. I'll try to reconstruct what I did. As I recall, I needed to replrogram the Thrustmaster itself, then change the Artemis control mapping.
Edit: Now that reverse impulse exists I will need to remap my Thrustmaster anyway. Any thoughts on which button should toggle reverse?

I currently have reverse mapped to a thumb button on the stick (BUTT_3 I believe). I'm thinking I'm going to remap it to BUTT_7 to place it on throttle control where it belongs. This would replace Warp 4 but who ever goes Max Warp anyway.
Mike, did you ever find out what you did to make the hat controls work?
I was unable to use BUTT_9. I remapped it using j2k but this was a shame.
