Source code for Ship Editor Tool?

Is there any chance I could have the source code for the Ship Editor Tool?
My reason is simple: I'd like to integrate that tool with the vesselData editor in Artemis Mod Loader. I have zero experience working with 3D modeling, so I'm not about to tackle it without a good starting point, such as the source code for the Ship Editor. The Ship Editor Tool has everything I need, except that it is probably written in C++, and my code is C#. I'm not sure how well it'll convert to C#, but I'd like to give a stab at it to make quite an awesome tool for modding Artemis. I'm not sure if I can do it, but I'd certainly like to try.
