Video stutter problem

posted May 23, 2013 16:15:51 by WilliamMyers
So I'm trying to move my Artemis server from one of my laptops, to an older desktop machine. Its a few years old, but running windows 7. The problem I'm having, is when in "Main window" mode, the video stutters like crazy. Any suggestions on what I can upgrade, or change in my set up, to get the video smoother? Otherwise, I'm back to using a laptop for the server.

Hmmmm. I get a similar problem. This fox is kinda weird bit it works for me. I let it run until it crashes and I get a D3 error message. Then I click enter and it works like a charm. Don't know if that will work for you but that's how I felt with it.

Giving specs on the system would help us out a bit. Could be the video card, or a cpu bottleneck, depending on how long a few years is. Most likely it's a video card issue, try snagging a video card from another machine/friend to test it out.

Fill in this info:
