Running Artemis on a hosted server
I've got a lot of friends who live primarily on the Internet, and even though we're geographically close it'd be easier for us to all meet on a central server with voice chat rather than actually having to pull our computers together.
So I've been thinking about renting space on a hosted server and setting up an Artemis ship or two. Does anyone have experience with this?

I play online against people from all over the world. When we do, one person hosts the Artemis server, then everyone connects in. You have to have your ports forwarded to allow people to connect, but it is a simple process to do, and there are a number of guides on the internet. We all use the Artemis Teamspeak server for chat.

i went to a few places and one thing i read is that i need a static IP address is that right, i really dont wanna call my ISP to do all that.
You can use a dynamic DNA service like dyn.com or no-ip.org
