New Uniform
So I've noticed that in many of the Artemis YouTube videos the crews dress in Star Trek uniforms or something very close to that. And that got me thinking that there should be uniforms unique to Artemis. Nothing too elaborate, maybe something nearly everyone can make at home, and definitely something that could prominently feature the patches. Maybe even just vests or smocks that could fit over any standard attire (say a one-colored t-shirt) so you could have a set for whatever crew is available and whatever positions they want the play.
I don't know anything about costume design, but I thought I'd float these ideas and see if someone on here does.

I have two certification badge idea, both are real badges that can be made through Smith and Wesson badge company but are a little costly.

Here is another version of the uniform shirt that I designed.
A vest would allow it to be a one-size-fits-all type thing as well as not being to weird if people shared them in a retail/LBE environment. :-)

Actually, I was thinking that a Chef's coat might make for a pretty snazzy

I like the look of the Chef's coat. Gives kind of a BSG or Babylon 5 look to the uniform. Little pricey, though...

Also, aren't Chef's coats rather loose fitting? Uniforms should have a good tailored cut to them.
well, you can tailor them for a better fit, that's easy. As a base, a starting point, it works, but modification would be required.

Also of you click the link he posted, it's not a bad fit. Doesn't look to loose at all. I think we need to pick soon, though. Standardize a design, something that everyone can use no matter their finances. How awesome would it be in the future to have a permanent uniform design and be able to identify fellow players because the have on their uniform at a con or an event? Or even better, have Artemis dedicated conventions and have entire buildings full of people wearing TSN uniforms?

Speaking of Uniforms, here's a pic of my BSG Duty Blues. And yes, I am playing the BSG board game in them, I find it enhances the experience, especially for the other players when I yell "Multiple incoming Cylon contacts on DRADIS! Actions Stations, Action Stations! Set condition one throughout the ship!" :P
